Suzhou Pilot Demonstration Zone

Phase One consists of Xiangcheng District, with a total length of 8.4 km and 13 intersections with public urban test areas such as straightaways, curved roads, traffic hub roads, which can meet the needs of 27 test projects and 65 scenarios for highly automated vehicles.

All intersections are equipped with sensing devices such as mmWave, LiDAR, and monitoring devices, which collect data and push real-time road conditions to nearby vehicles, cloud control centers, and other terminals using the uplink bandwidth capacity of the 5G network. The regional edge computing power can reach 100 trillion times per second for CPU computing power can reach 2880 trillion times GPU processing power, with 50 times the spare computing, which meets requirements for L4+ automated driving in the most complex road environments.
