The Detroit-Midtown Connected Intersections Project will explore deploying C-V2X RSUs at various intersections around the Wayne State University campus.Together with the University, we will be deploying C-V2X OBUs on University buses in order to research and deploy a Real World living lab environment. Funding for this project has been secured for $100,000 through the Michigan Smart Connected Vehicle Funding Platform for a 4-month period. The goal of the project is to communicate traffic signal controller information between university buses and transportation infrastructure, and at the end of the project, the team will be required to submit a final report on the results of the project.
